New Policy: Effective March 23, 2018, payment is expected at time of scheduling. Please read the new policy at the bottom.
Smoking Cessation 4-Step Program: In this smoking cessation program, I will see you a minimum of four times in my office. Each session will range from 1-2 hours. Sessions 1 and 2 need to be scheduled 2-4 days apart (therefore within the same week). Session 3 will be scheduled 5-7 days after session 2. Session 4 is schedule 4-8 weeks after session 3. I do not use generic scripts for the hypnosis sessions. Each hypnosis session is customized to your specific needs.
Prior to First Appointment: You need to have smoked your final cigarette 12-24 hours before session 1. I want to see you when you still have that desire for a cigarette. Make sure all cigarettes are destroyed from your house, car, work, etc., after you smoke that final cigarette. If you don't do this, it means you are not serious about quitting. Also...wanting to quit smoking is not good enough. "Wanting" is future tense...meaning you hope to quit and are not truly serious and commited. You need to firmly believe you have decided to quit (present tense). If you see me because your spouse, parents, kids, etc. want you to quit, that's not a good enough reason, and your success rate will be much lower. It's not worth wasting your time or mine if you're not fully commited. This 4-Step program has a wonderful success rate of 67%. That is based on the feedback of smoking clients over a 12-year period who have used this excellent program. Compared to other smoking cessation programs, this success rate is very high. Patches and drugs such as Chantix and Zyban are much less effective than hypnosis.
Besides the 4 sessions in my office, you will receive supportive MP3's to listen to at home. These MP3's will reinforce the hypnotic suggestions given to you in the office. You are also strongly encouraged to do self-hypnosis which will be taught to you. This self-hypnosis will keep you calm and relaxed.
I am also offering this 4-Step Smoking Cessation package at a discounted price of $299. This package saves you $200 from my normal session fee. Go to the "schedule" page and make your first appointment through Genbook.com! You can lock in the special pricing through the PayPal button below. Please use the "drop down menu" to see all of the options. If two individuals join together, I will reduce the package price to $250 for each person. Sessions will still be held separately.
I also offer a "One and Done" Smoking Cessation program. Some clients are on a very tight budget and prefer to go this route. Of course you do not receive the added support of seeing me during 3 follow-up sessions. For this one session, I offer a special price of $99. Along with the 2-hour session comes a supportive smoking cessation MP3 to listen to at home. I also include additional MP3's that will reduce stress and make withdrawal easier. Clients have found positive results with one and done programs, but your rate of success is much higher with the 4-Step program.
New Policy: Effective March 23, 2018, payment is expected at time of scheduling. This can be done through this website via PayPal or you may call me at (563) 468-3328 and I can take credit or debit card payment over the phone. If you prefer paying in cash or check, you may do so by bringing payment into our office (Northwest Bank, 2550 Middle Road, Suite 301A, Bettendorf, IA 52722). Bev Reed, the Officenter Secretary, can take your payment. Once payment is received, you may schedule online or schedule with me over the phone at the cell number listed above. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I have had new clients who scheduled an appointment and either called with very late notice or never called at all. I spend a great deal of time (often hours) preparing for a client's first visit. I do so because often people will come to me with uncommon medical issues. This requires me to do research and plan the very best session possible. My years of teaching have taught me the valuable lesson of being prepared. Often smokers, alcoholics, or compulsive gamblers will get cold feet and decide at the last minute to cancel. This is not fair to me as I many times adjust my personal and business schedule around these appointments. I thank you for understanding. Mark Wilson
